Crypto Market Overview: Solana Leads Weekly Declines
Chang.K·Oct 30, 2026·3 min readSolana leads seven-day losses across five tracked crypto assets. Bitcoin trades at $77,195, with the Fed rate hold and PCE inflation in focus.

All five assets in Rootstone's weekly crypto overview declined over the preceding seven days. Bitcoin traded at $77,195, down 5.84%, while Solana recorded the largest percentage loss in the group.
Solana fell 9.84% to $95.04. Ether lost 8.49% to $2,205.41 and XRP declined 8.07% to $1.22. BNB dropped 4.13% to $709.90, the smallest percentage decline among the five tracked assets.
The Federal Reserve held its policy rate range at 3.75%–4.00% earlier this week. Two policymakers preferred a quarter-percentage-point increase. The subsequent U.S. inflation release showed that the PCE price index rose 3.6% from a year earlier in the latest reported month. Core PCE, which excludes food and energy, rose 3.1% year over year.
These policy and inflation developments provide context for the final trading session of the week, but the price snapshot alone does not establish what caused the declines. Watch whether losses narrow across the five assets or remain concentrated in the weaker performers. The returns cover the trailing seven days through the snapshot, rather than a completed calendar week.
