Crypto Market Roundup: ETF Outflows and Payment Infrastructure
Chang.K·Oct 19, 2026·3 min readBitcoin ETFs post $228.4M in weekly outflows as Polygon completes Coinme's acquisition, Thai ETF rules take effect and Lynq tests RLUSD settlement.

ETF withdrawals and developments in regulated payments, fund access and institutional settlement shaped the past week.
↳ U.S. spot $BTC ETFs recorded $228.4 million in net outflows across last week's five sessions. The strongest inflow day brought $175.7 million, but a subsequent $261.4 million outflow and further redemptions left the week negative.
↳ Polygon completed its Coinme acquisition, adding U.S. payment coverage across 48 states through 37 money transmitter licenses and 11 exemptions. Tazapay, Mesh, Toku and Kira are among the early customers adopting its Open Money Stack.
↳ Thailand's crypto ETF framework took effect last week, initially covering Bitcoin and Ether. Funds must track a single asset with average net exposure of at least 80% of NAV over each accounting year and use SEC-regulated digital asset custodians.
↳ Lynq and The Better Money Company announced a live test converting a client's assets into RLUSD, with settlement completed in minutes. The pre-funded proof of concept used production accounts and institutional counterparties; it was a limited test rather than a broad rollout.
