U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $678.9M in weekly net outflows. This roundup covers the CFTC consultation, FinCEN's proposal withdrawals and OKX's $25B pre-money valuation.

Crypto's week brought ETF outflows, policy changes and funding.

↳ U.S. spot $BTC ETFs recorded $678.9 million in net outflows across last week's five trading sessions, based on Farside Investors' daily data. A $21.1 million inflow in the final session was too small to offset the week's redemptions.

↳ The CFTC sought input on a federal framework for leveraged, margined or financed retail crypto trading. Its Regulation CTX and Regulation CAM consultation carries a 60-day comment period following Federal Register publication.

↳ FinCEN withdrew two proposals covering transactions involving unhosted wallets and international crypto mixing. Neither proposal had become a final rule, so the withdrawals leave financial institutions' existing financial-crime obligations in place.

↳ Okx announced investment from Circle, QRT, Ripple and Standard Chartered's SC Ventures at a $25 billion pre-money valuation. The financing extends its earlier ICE-backed round; the new investment amount was undisclosed.
